Grant to pursue the study of artificial lighting.

Proposal: Conduct research + study the production of color through light. Create an art installation of immersive environments with three different studies of color production through light - an evolutionary survey of lighting technology. We will be presenting color as components of light through prismatic glass, light distilled to color with dichroic glass/acetate, and lastly present color + light married through the modern technology of LED lighting. With each environment, hue becomes more intentional.
